It's National Hairball Awarness Day!

The last Friday of April is National Hairball Awareness Day; https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/hairball-awareness-day/
and in its honor we are giving out Noodle Hairballs (but no Sticky Paws)...

So, here goes; a harry hairball to what the future might be like in a Trump presidency...
http://www.thewrap.com/boston-globe-envisions-life-under-president-trump-in-withering-satirical-front-page/  not just harry, but scary!

Our next hairball goes to the former CEO of McDonald's who has predicted huge lay offs if the company has to pay $15.00 an hour to it's employees many of whom have to supplement their tiny incomes with food stamps ....

And here's one for Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan for saying he was going to drink only water from a Flint tap for 30 days but then went off to Germany after the first two days.
I mean really...he said he was going to drink the water for 30 days...but not in a row!

And last but not least another hairball for Donald Trump ( he just makes it SO easy!)
In case you missed any, here is a list of the craziest things The Donald has said so far. Keep in mind we are probably talking about the next Republican presidential nominee ;

After all those hairballs we think you could probably use a bit of uplifting...
Whether or not you watched The Newsroom on HBO or not and even though we are not usually the biggest of country music fans, this will get your toes tapping and you won't be able to get the tune out of your head!

It's Time For Fun Facts With Noodle...

This weekend we thought we'd bring you a few stories and facts that you might not know...

First off, you've probably heard of the Equal Rights Amendment, yes?
It's what the 60's and 70's was all about.
Equal rights, we have that as an amendment to the constitution right? WRONG.
Yep, here we are in 2016 and we have never been able to pass the Equal Rights Amendment.
http://www.equalrightsamendment.org/history.htm

What do Bill Clinton, Kris Kristofferson and Rachel Maddow all have in common? They are all Rhodes Scholars.
If you have ever heard the phrase Rhodes Scholar then you know it means that the person you are referring to is one smart cookie. But did you know where the name comes from? It's actually quite controversial.

Here's something we think should get a great big Sticky Paw...
Turns out that the RNC decided it was a good idea to scare people into donating money.
These mailers were mostly targeting the elderly. Good job Reince!

And lastly, we want to leave you with something funny...so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vU8dCYocuyI

Well if nothing else we hope you all learned a little something new...

Have a wonderful weekend!

Problems, problems, problems...

So here's the thing...

As regular followers of Noodle are probably aware, we haven't posted in the past week.
Our apologies but we have just a whole lot going on right now and every time we sit down to post something else seems to crop up!

Some are big and some are just little and annoying.

We are hoping things will settle down soon and we can get back to our regular schedule.

Our latest problem is with face book they are going to close Noodle's account because she has no ID
in her name. We are appealing to the kind people at face book but we just might have no face book
in the future which leads us to having to give face book a big Sticky Paw...

We will keep you up dated.

If you would like to protest the closure of Noodle' s FB page just leave a post on the page till it's gone...  https://www.facebook.com/phil.shaw.3956/about

We would be remiss if we did not acknowledge that might not have properly followed the face book
rules and we are sorry for that but come on give a kitty a break after all it's hard doing all this with no pockets or opposable thumbs!

Hope you are having a better week than we are...

All Aboard The Trump Mobile...

                    ALL ABOARD THE TRUMP MOBILE...

Before we begin... we want to thank everybody over at Nerissa's Life; http://www.nerissaslife.com/2016/03/we-have-winner.html cause guess what? We won!
What did we win??? Take a look...

Thanks to the good folks at; Sushi Float https://www.etsy.com/shop/sushifloat
We are just so very happy that we won!

And now to politics...

When asked who he consults with on foreign policy Donald Trump replied, "I speak with myself. I have a very good brain. I have said a lot of things."

When asked why he thought he was competent to be the president of the United States he replied,
"I went to an amazing school, very expensive school. I have words. I have all the best words".

On why he would be a good president, He is rich, he has lots of money, he is rich.
He is self funding his campaign so he won't be indebted to any donors ( even though he has taken in over 10 million dollars in donations which he thinks is "cute".)

Last week was an interesting conglomeration of statements followed by walk backs by the candidate leaving commentators and pundits to pontificate on the inevitability of Mr. Trumps future as the republican nominee.
As a public service we want to issue our first buyer beware!
No matter who you support politically, be sure you know what it is you will be getting, take a listen to John Oliver; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnpO_RTSNmQ

And if you need proof that the Republican party seems to be coming completely off the rails?
Listen to Lindsey Graham on the Daily Show; http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/03/lindsey-graham-daily-show-republican-party

Can you say contested convention?

We can only wait to see what this week will bring...

Have a super week.
